Penfolds Bin A Chardonnay 2018

Reserve Bin A Chardonnay has developed into a wine with an expressive and modern Adelaide Hills chardonnay persona, making it a distinctive, single-region style in its own right. Fruit is manually collected into little bins, and the entire bunch is then pressed. Direct from the press, a portion of the juice is gradually added to a barrel and allowed to ferment naturally without any inoculation. Each 225-liter new and seasoned French oak barrique ferments independently. By fermenting and maturing on solids with sensitive, infrequent yeast lees stirring, more mouthfeel and complexity are produced. 100% natural (malolactic) fermentation.
